Job Description: Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead testing and quality engineering efforts across the project lifecycle

– Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing

– Analyze defects and implement controls to prevent recurrence

– Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts

– Provide expertise and guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

– 8+ years of experience in quality engineering and analysis

– Strong expertise in Blue Yonder’s IA & Sourcing products

– Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder and AS/400

– Experience with web services testing, database testing, and querying

– Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Java, and REST Assured

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

– Strong communication and collaboration skills

– Experience with BDD/TDD (Cucumber/Gherkin)

– Knowledge of Agile and traditional SDLC & STLC methodologies

– Experience working with offshore teams

Education & Location:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

– Must be located in Chicago and eligible to work on W2 (no C2C for Green Card holders)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
